Direct Sales Vs Distribution Strategy

Instructed by Dan Kasprzyk
Upon completion of your initial prototype development, market assessment studies, in-house manufacturing vs. contract manufacturing, regulatory affairs submissions, approvals; “How are we going to generate revenue and profits?”  Whether you use a direct sales strategy or key distribution network to penetrate your market the first step is for the founder/entrepreneur to become your company’s greatest sales resource. If your founding expertise is a technical engineering role and sales makes your stomach ache then find a partner that LOVES to sell and believes in your product/service.

Dan Kasprzyk, Moonshot at NACET Board Member and founder of POBA Medical, will cover the benefits of the individual approaches including a licensing model and leave you with some thought-provoking paths including your important investment in digital marketing and LinkedIn utilization.

Gorilla Recruiting & Hiring

Instructed by Joe Mullings
You say “your people are your number one asset”, true! But do you really know how to get them to your company? Most of the time your hiring strategy is “post & pray” and that is not effective because A-Players are not answering job postings as they are busy with their heads down solving problems. Or you hit your network, and that is fine, but that is usually a shallow pool and you have just limited your search to people you know.

You can pay a search firm, but do you really have $40k to spend on a role given all of your other requirements?Successful hiring is a Hum-Sing-Shout strategy and if you commit to 3 hours a week, you can keep your pipeline healthy and bring on force multipliers to your team.

Joe Mullings is the Chairman & CEO of the Mullings Group Companies and
has been featured in Forbes, CNBC, Business Insider, Yahoo Finance, NY Post, and Monster. Joe is also the host of the TrueFuture TV series.
