Sherri Ondrus

CHIEF LEARNING OFFICER

Moonshot is pleased to announce Sherri Ondrus as our new Chief Learning Officer to drive learning innovation across our organization.  As a certified executive coach with a PhD in Social Psychology, she brings 25 years of higher education experience through leadership roles at Maricopa County Community College District, University of Phoenix, and the City University of New York.

In her capacity as an independent consultant and coach, she has worked with leading organizations including Education Forward Arizona, AZ-based League for Innovation in the Community College, Gonzaga University, and Achieving the Dream.  As an adjunct faculty member at Northern Arizona University and Arizona State University, she has taught graduate-level courses in higher education accountability and mixed-methods research design.

Sherri’s proven ability to translate complex data for decision-making and accountability, and to lead training, strategic planning, and educational excellence, makes her uniquely positioned to advance Moonshot's learning initiatives.  She will help shape Moonshot’s learning strategy and partnerships to accelerate economic impact, workforce development, and growth opportunities for entrepreneurs across Arizona.  She is eager to collaborate with local and state partners to cultivate the next generation of entrepreneurs and changemakers. 

Her background positions her to accelerate key programs including the Moonshot Flagstaff Campus, Moonshot Academy's entrepreneur certification programs, Constellations networking and education platform, and AZ Stitch Lab's workforce training initiatives. Sherri's demonstrated ability to navigate complex educational ecosystems will be instrumental in scaling these programs across local, regional, and statewide networks, driving Moonshot's mission to transform entrepreneurial education and workforce development throughout Arizona.
