Using the history of the game MONOPOLY® as an example of how to protect (or fail to protect) intellectual property, we review how patents, trade secrets, trademarks, and copyrights can be used to provide a competitive advantage.
Building on Part I, we explore intellectual property law principles as they can be applied to specific examples. This workshop includes interactive breakout sessions where participants will have a chance to better understand the process of defining and protecting inventions and creating and clearing trademarks.
