How to set up email notifications for incoming applications

How to Setup Email Notifications for Application Submissions

ON THE GOOGLE APPLICATION FORM

In order to receive email notifications when someone submits and application, you'll need to click one button. Please follow the steps below:

1. Open the form (you were sent an email by [email protected]). 
2. While in the form, go to the RESPONSES tab. 
3. Click the three dots next to View In Sheets.
4. Select the option for: GET EMAIL NOTIFICATIONS FOR NEW RESPONSES. 

IN GOOGLE SHEETS RESPONSES

Each host city staff member will get access to the Google Sheets file that houses the responses to the application form for each individual tour stop. 
In order to set up email notifications that let you know when an application has been submitted, please follow these instructions.

1. Open the Google Sheet that houses the application form responses for your city/town. (The Moonshot team will give you and your team access to the sheet via email.)   
2. Go to TOOLS in the menu bar above and select NOTIFICATION SETTINGS.
3. Then choose EDIT NOTIFICATIONS
4. Next, choose NOTIFY ME WHEN: A USER SUBMITS A FORM. 
5. Lastly, choose NOTIFY ME WITH: Either EMAIL DAILY DIGEST or EMAIL RIGHT AWAY.
