Course Description
Introduction to Java is a six-week course designed to teach the core programming concepts ranging from basic logic and decisions to advanced Object-Oriented patterns. Students who successfully complete this course can continue their education to become a back-end software developer building Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) and working with data by learning Structured Query Language (SQL) and a Java development framework such as Spring Boot.

Core programming concepts learned in this course are also applicable in other languages, such as JavaScript, and can lead to a front end (website, User Interface) role with continued education as well.
