The City of Flagstaff and APS invite you to the 3rd Annual Shoemaker Awards, an inspiring, entertaining event celebrating stellar moonshot-thinking entrepreneurs from Flagstaff and beyond.
Not only are we celebrating our 2023 Mission Control Winner, David Johns, and our 2023 Shoemaker Award Winners, Evan Anderson and Kelly Anderson, but we're also featuring 10 inspiring entrepreneurs from around the state of Arizona!

During dinner, first place winners from each tour stop region/city who participated in the 4th Annual AZ Pioneer Pitch Tour will present their ideas/products in a Shark Tank-style pitch competition during dinner.
The state-wide winner will be announced at the event and will take home a $10,000 cash prize thanks to our generous sponsor, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona. In addition, you'll have the opportunity to vote for your Audience Favorite, who will also take home a cash prize worth $5,000, thanks to Growth Partners AZ!

The Shoemaker Awards
The Shoemaker Awards are named after Carolyn Shoemaker for her extraordinary moonshot thinking and phenomenal achievement in astrogeology. She and her husband, Gene, established the USGS Center for Astrogeology.
